Art Club at Black Mountain Center for the Arts
Art Club is an opportunity for children, ages 8-13 to enhance their
creative expression through experimentation. With guidance from an
experienced artist, members will learn how to develop their ideas, be
innovative and practice problem solving skills. Famous Artists, styles
and techniques are introduced in a fun informal setting. Children have a
great time making art while keeping their brains sharp through the summer
months. Art Club meets 2:00 to 5:00 pm, Mon. - Fri. Membership is based
on 2 week sessions and cost is only 120.00 per session which includes all

Eliada Summer Camp
A great experience for children 5-12. This 5-Star Program focuses on creative, fun aspects of learning and adventure, while helping children build self-esteem and responsibility. Highlights include daily swimming, gym, the NYPUM mini-bike program, teen CIT program, and weekly horseback riding, field trips, and visiting artists. Eliada Summer Sports Academy
This camp is for the novice 8-12 year-old athlete. Each week instruction in a specific sport allows each child to learn the basics, build confidence, practice, scrimmage, receive fitness training, learn about good nutrition, increase teamwork skills, and swim.

TrailRidge Mountain Camp
Known to some as the "world's smallest camp." Separate boys and girls travel camps offering programs from one to five weeks in length. Enrollment for each session is limited to 16 campers. This summer: Roan Mountain Base Camp; Pisgah Forest Base Camp; French Broad Canoe Adventure; and a four-day Appalachian Trail Backpacking and Rafting expedition.
