American Association of University Women meets the 3rd Wednesdays of the month. This group is a 150 year old national organization promoting equity for all women and girls, lifelong education and positive societal change. The Asheville's branch is NC's largest. Family Caregiver Support Program Land-of-Sky Regional Council provides support to caregivers who provide informal, unpaid care to a person 60 or older and to grandparents 60 or older who are raising their grandchildren. For more information, call 828-251-6622.

Fibromyalgia Support Center Everything you need to know to live the life you want to live. A resource for those wanting to learn about fibromyalgia or learn how to fight the disease. Contains over eighty articles on fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Grief Support Services of Mountain Area Hospice meets from 7-8:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and from noon-1:30pm on Wednesdays. All meetings are held at 85 Zillcoa Street in Asheville and are open to anyone over 18 who has experienced the death of someone they loved.

The Solution Program provides nutrition counseling for: Weight management for children, adolescents, teens and adults. Nutrition counseling is also provided for eating disorders, hypertension, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, gastrointestinal disorders, pediatrics, malnutrition, cancer and hypoglycemia. Supplemental Nutrition Program this program, for women, infants and children, is a preventative nutrition program that provides nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding guidance to low income, pregnant woman, new mothers and infants and children who are at nutritional risks. Women in Recovery This a Christian-based support group meets at Central United Methodist Church, room 303 Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:00pm.
