Join Tom Tribble of the Audobon Society on April 25th for a guided tour of the Elisha Mitchell Bird Sanctuary at Beaver Lake in Asheville.
The tour is Saturday April 25th at 9:00 am. This is a FREE event with donations accepted for the Adubon Society.
The sanctuary includes a boardwalk which allows visitors to observe birds and other wildlife in several different habitat types. In addition to providing habitat for a multitude of bird species, the sanctuary is home to many species of butterflies and dragonflies/damselflies.
