With more breweries than any other Southern state, North Carolina’s ‘Beer Renaissance’ is in full swing, with Asheville among those leading the way in creativity, innovation and number of breweries per capita.
In celebration of N.C. Beer Month, Thirsty Monk will not only feature breweries based in Western North Carolina, but also travel across the Foothills, Piedmont and Eastern Carolina to feature a variety of styles from our state-wide neighbors.
The takeover is throughout April and will feature dozens of breweries, including several that aren’t typically available in Asheville. There will be something for everyone as well, with styles represented including everything from stouts to double IPAs, ciders, sours, pilsners, Belgians and many more.
