Asheville Recreation Advisory Board Recruits New Members

The City of Asheville is accepting applications for the Recreation Advisory Board, a citizen advisory board to city staff and City Council on matters pertaining to the operation of park facilities and recreation programs within the City of Asheville.

The board will make policy recommendations to the City Council and carry out duties as may be assigned to them by the City Council.

The board meets bimonthly on the second Monday from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the 1st floor conference room of City Hall in January, March, May, July, September and November. The appointment is for a three-year term, and each board member may serve up to two consecutive appointments.
