Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and Child Care Subsidy Services will relocate to 7 Yorkshire Street on July 6th.
These services, currently located at 40 Coxe Avenue, will temporarily relocate during building construction to 7 Yorkshire Street off of Hendersonville Road. Yorkshire Street is located between the Biltmore United Methodist Church and the Huddle House.
WIC-West Services will remain at their current location at 339 Leicester Highway, Suite 120 in West Asheville.
Services that continue to be provided at 40 Coxe Avenue include Food Assistance, Medicaid, Work First, and Youth Employment Permits. Free parking for BCHHS visitors is available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the week in the lot next to the downtown bus station at the intersection of Aston St. and Coxe Ave.
