Fall Festival at Lake Julian Park

This year’s Fall Festival at Lake Julian Park has been scheduled for Saturday, October 24th. The festival is free, begins at 11:00 am, and is open to adults and children of all ages.

Gather your friends and family to create a scarecrow and enter it into our Scarecrow Contest or Carve a pumpkin and bring it to the Pumpkin Carving Contest. Pre-registration for the Scarecrow Contest is suggested. Entry forms can be downloaded here. Contest winners will be announced at 2:00 pm the day of the Festival.

The Fall Festival will have many activities available for folks of all ages: you can take a ride on the Pirate Pontoon Ship, look for bones from Steve the Pirate on a Skeleton Scavenger Hunt, try Zombie Zumba, Pumpkin Volleyball, or take a break with your little ones and listen to a story as you look over beautiful Lake Julian and the Fall splendor. WNC Safe Kids, the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention, and the Skyland Fire Department will be there with Fall safety tips.
