Oskar Blues Brewery and the Asheville Downtown Association will present a free community concert with hometown favorites, Steep Canyon Rangers, on June 11th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Pack Square Park.
The event is produced in partnership with the City of Asheville.

The opening band will hit the stage at 6:00 pm, with the Steep Canyon Rangers following at 7:00 pm.
The Steep Canyon Rangers call the mountains of Western North Carolina home and are thrilled to play a free show for their neighbors. The band took home the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2013 for Nobody Knows You and recently released their ninth studio album, Radio, recorded in Downtown Asheville’s Echo Mountain Studios. Rolling Stone Magazine just called the group the “best innovators” seen at MerleFest 2016, saying they “stood up for young bluegrass bands everywhere who mash their beloved music with rock and folk.”
A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $75 per person and include a private seating area, Oskar Blues beers, select wines and other beverages, as well as a full catered meal from Moe’s Original BBQ, including vegetarian and gluten-free items. Parking options: The Asheville Downtown Association recommends parking on the east side of downtown as several high school graduations will be taking place at the U.S. Cellular Center. Recommended parking areas include:
