Asheville Greenworks does a lot of great volunteering and cleanup events for our area, and they also contribute to green education in our region through multiple school programs.
And it’s almost time for them to cut loose and reflect on all the great work they’ve done! You can join them for their Root Ball on September 29th from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Asheville Outdoor Center at 521 Amboy Road.
Join Greenworks for a dance party by the river to celebrate, recognize, and enjoy our beautiful community. The best part, all proceeds from the event will benefit their work out cleanup and “greenup” our local urban environment. You’ll enjoy a gourmet cookout provided by Hickory Nut Gap Farms, music by LYRIC, and locally made hand crafted beverages. This is an all ages event, and anyone 18 and under is free to attend with a paying adult.
