Asheville Vaudeville Returns Oct. 8th With Political Shows

Asheville Vaudeville is going to get a little bit political with their next two shows on Saturday, October 8th at Toy Boat Community Artspace in Biltmore Village.

Allow us to entertain you! Your host for this show is the mesmerizing master of motion and amazements – Walter Beals of Asheville’s own premiere juggling troupe, Forty Fingers and a Missing Tooth!

The election is just around the corner, and we all need a little laugh, don’t we? Join us as we offer distractions, delights, and delectable entertainment from the varied performers of this blue-tinged cesspool of sin that we call home.

We are pleased to welcome back a few Vaudeville veterans: puppetry by Keith Shubert of Toybox Theatre, shimmies and shivers by Found World Bellydance, antics of LuLu the Clown, a rock opera moment by Iggy Ingler, comedy and song from Millie Van Illa, and puppets by Jim Julien. We are excited to present some new talent to the crowds, with burlesque performances by Diana Dirty-Mind of Knoxville, TN and local Hester Prynncess, as well as a pole routine by Ella Minopee. There may also be a few special guests stopping by to contribute their talents to an awesome lineup!

Since 2009, Asheville Vaudeville has been proud to feature the wildly diverse skills, talents, and unique art of our local performers. You’ll never see the same act at Asheville Vaudeville twice!

As usual, the show is intended for grownup children, ages eighteen and up. Tickets are available at the door the 7:30 pm show costs $15 and the 10:00 pm show costs $12.
