Blue Ridge Honor Flight Takes Off September 24th

Blue Ridge Honor Flight (formerly HonorAir) will be making its next mission on Saturday, September 24th from the Asheville Regional Airport. The flight will be taking 102 veterans from the Korean War, as well as World War II and Vietnam.

This special flight takes place ten years and one day after the first HonorAir flight to the World War II Memorial.

HonorAir and the National Honor Flight programs have been responsible for flying over 200,000 veterans to our nation’s capitol to experience their memorial.
