Nutritious Thoughts Announces New Location

The team at Nutritious Thoughts is pleased to announce that as of January 13th, 2017, their practice will relocate to 31 College Place, Building B.

The office is within Asheville Office Park, has plenty of parking and is easily accessed from Town Mountain Road, College Street, and I-240.

“We are very excited about the move,” said Kendra Gaffney, RD, LDN, CEDS, founder of Nutritious Thoughts. “This new space will make access easier for our clients and includes a large group room that we are looking forward to using with our upcoming Mindful Eating Skills support group.”

The Mindful Eating Skills support group is a six-week series that begins January 17th.

Kendra Gaffney, RD, LDN is a registered and licensed dietitian specializing in eating disorders, weight loss and weight management, sports nutrition, as well as intuitive and mindful eating. Kendra Gaffney graduated with a B.S. in Food and Nutrition, specializing in Dietetics and went on to complete her graduate program/Dietetic Internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville Tennessee. After working as a clinical dietitian for 8 years, Kendra founded Nutritious Thoughts, LLC. Katie Rhodes, RD, LDN graduated with a B.S. in Food and Nutrition from Montana State University, Katie completed her Dietetic Internship at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Asheville, North Carolina. It was during her internship that Katie developed a calling and passion for nutrition counseling. Lindsey M. Yemc, MS, RD, LDN, attended college at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After graduating with a B.S. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Psychology, she received her Master of Science in Nutrition from Appalachian State University two years later.
