On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. Performances continue at Asheville Community Theatre’s 35below through February 19th.
As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.
Whether you’re single or in a relationship, producer and director Reenie Lindblöm Dowd says you’ll be warmed by the charm and honesty of this show during the month of love—and you can even catch it on Valentine’s Day.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $15 per person. Please visit ashevilletheatre.org for additional information.
