The North Carolina Arboretum has a great new exhibit you won’t want to miss. It’s called Winged Wonders: Step Into the World of Butterflies.
It’s taking place through October at the Arboretum, located at 100 Frederick Law Olmstead Way in Asheville. Daily hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. See the miracle of metamorphosis before your very eyes.
On display inside the Baker Exhibit Center Greenhouse, Winged Wonders is an indoor butterly exhibit featuring a chrysalis-rearing chamber and walk-through butterfly house where visitors can meet a whole host of local butterfly species, including monarchs, swallowtails, and more.
