Asheville Art Museum Hosts Day Trip to Cherokee

The Asheville Art Museum is hosting an Art Travels day trip to Cherokee on Friday, October 6th, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The itinerary includes: viewing the Museum of the Cherokee Indian’s Story of the Cherokees and Emissaries of Peace exhibits with a member of the Cherokee Friends; a lunch of Southern home cooking at Granny’s Kitchen; a visit to Qualla Arts & Crafts Mutual for traditional Eastern Cherokee arts and crafts; and exploring the 105th Annual Cherokee Indian Fair for authentic Cherokee culture, local art, dance, music, rides and more.

Round-trip transportation is included from the Asheville Art Museum On the Slope at 175 Biltmore Avenue.

Tickets are $90 for members and $100 for non-members; ticket price includes transportation, museum tour, lunch, and fair ticket. Please register by September 21st.
