Asheville-centric Cookbook to Benefit Animals

Last month the Asheville food scene was decidedly vegan-leaning as eighteen of the area’s best restaurants competed to create the most delicious plant-based meals.

The second annual Asheville Plant-Based Face-Off was such an intense success that event organizers at No Evil Foods joined forces with local writer Stepfanie Romine, founder of the Flexible Kitchen and co-author of The No Meat Athlete Cookbook , to commemorate the creative, city-wide challenge. They curated an incredibly dynamic and flavorful collection featuring the recipes created by participating restaurants during this year’s face off! The result is perhaps the largest and one of the tastiest collaborations of Asheville-area food businesses!

100% of the e-cookbook’s proceeds will benefit Brother Wolf Animal Sanctuary in their efforts to continue building a no-kill community and to rescue dogs, cats, and other animals, including those typically farmed for food.
