Twenty Gold Key Award recipients and their works will go to the National Scholastic Art Competition in New York this month to compete with thousands of other regional Gold Key recipients from across the United States.

Five of our Regional Gold Key winners were also selected as “American Visions,” which is the nomination for regional best in show. These five students will be in the national competition and one will be selected as a National American Visions award recipient. This national winner is the student whose work best represents the talent and creativity of the Western North Carolina region.
