Artist applications are now available for the 49th annual Art on Main fine art and fine craft show in Hendersonville, North Carolina. This year, one day has been added to the show. Show dates will be Friday, August 1 through Sunday, August 3 and is being sponsored by the Arts Council of Henderson County.
Artists may request an application by calling the Arts Council at 828-693-8504 or by downloading from their website at www.acofhc.org. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2008 (postmark). There is a $20.00 non-refundable jury fee and a booth fee of $200.00. This year, this high quality show will grow to include over 70 of the finest artists and crafts people from the southeastern U.S. Kimberley Adams, chairperson for the event, is gearing up for next year's 50th anniversary by adding Friday afternoon to the show, increasing prize money, extending their ad campaign and introducing artist demonstrations to draw the biggest crowds to date. Artists and patrons alike will once again enjoy the beautiful location of historic downtown Hendersonville.
