Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project Conference February 26


Local markets are growing and promising outlets for area farmers. The Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP) will present an all-day marketing conference on Saturday, February 26, for local farmers, agriculture professionals, and food representatives at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa from 7:30AM – 5:30PM. For serious farmers or those seriously interested in farming are encouraged to attend. Conference topics will cover everything from Internet marketing to different market channels to rules and regulations, and a host of other aspects of market farming.

Registration is limited, and pre-registration is required by February 1, 2005. Registration fee is $20 per person, and includes a lunch of locally raised food.
