The City of Asheville is Seeking Entertainers for the 2010 Bele Chere Festival


The City of Asheville is now accepting applications for entertainers to perform at the 2010 Bele Chere Festival being held Thursday, July 23 through Sunday, July 25, 2010. The application is available for download at www.belecherefestival.com. Bands can also apply online at www.sonicbids.com. All applications must be postmarked or submitted online by the deadline of Monday, February 12th 2010.

Located in downtown Asheville, North Carolina, Bele Chere showcases national, regional and local entertainment on four stages over three days and is one of the largest, free, outdoor events in the Southeast with an annual attendance of over 300,000 people. Now in its 32nd year, this event provides an excellent opportunity for musicians and entertainers of all levels to showcase their talent before crowds they might not otherwise be able to reach. The festival books over 60 entertainers ranging from bands and single musicians to roving entertainers to highlight the cultural diversity of the area.

Bele Chere is the largest free outdoor street festival in the Southeast, with an attendance of approximately 300,000 annually.
