Friends of Buncombe County Libraries have opened “Bookends,” a used book store inside Pack Memorial Library in downtown Asheville. Bookends will be open during library hours and will feature gently-read, quality hardbacks for adults and children at great prices. There will also be previously enjoyed paperbacks, music and movies available for purchase, with all the proceeds going to the Friends of Buncombe County Libraries.
The “Bargain Basement” book sale selection downstairs at Pack Library will continue to offer budget-minded used books at rock bottom prices. New selections will be added to the store shelves on a regular basis. Come in, shop and help the library at the same time.
