The Flat Rock Music Festival is gearing up for its 2nd Annual SPRING FLING. Everyone is welcome to join us April 19th, 2008 at beautiful Camp Ton-A-Wandah in Flat Rock, NC for a night of music, dancing, BBQ and reveling in the spring atmosphere. With the $50 Adult ticket admission or $25.00 Chlid ticket admission, patrons will receive a whole night of music, a catered dinner, camping and parking. This year the event brings the Biscuit Burners, Moonshine Babies with Marc Yaxley, Matt Walsh (Kansas City Blues Man), the Dirty Rug Band and local favorites The Smokey Joe Show.
The event is rain or shine; all of the artists will be performing in the camp's gym. There will be lots of activities to participate in besides listening to great music. Kids arts, crafts and games are planned, massage therapists will work away the stress from your day and there will be beer and wine available for sale.. A limited amount of beds and cabins are available. The public will need to register early for the weekend if wanting these accomodations. No hookups are available, but RV camping is allowed with RVS and trailers under 35feet. The camping overall will be more accessible than last's years event.
All media contacts should be directed to Festival Director Kathlene Stith at 828-692-2005.
