MANNA Hosting County-Wide Emergency Food Drive Today

MANNA Food Bank is hosting an emergency food drive today, Thursday, July 10. Food can be dropped off at all Buncombe County fire stations, the American Red Cross on Edgewood Road in north Asheville, or at MANNA Food Bank, located at 623 Swannanoa River Road. Hours are 7AM until 8PM tonight.

MANNA is hoping to collect 20,000 pounds of food during this drive, the first drive hosted by the organization itself. (Past drives have been hosted by community organizations, schools, and churches on MANNA's behalf.) The most-needed items are peanut butter, tuna, beef stew, and canned fruits and vegetables.

For more information, call 828-299-3663, or visit www.mannafoodbank.org.

Can't donate today? Your organization can help by hosting a food drive of its own. Visit www.mannafoodbank.org to learn how you can host a drive for MANNA.
