The City of Asheville is soliciting requests for proposals from qualified consulting firms to develop a comprehensive transit master plan that will analyze existing services and assess current and future needs. The plan will also determine whether and how existing services can be streamlined to improve the level of service. Proposals should be submitted to Mariate Echeverry, Asheville Transit System’s interim manager, by 4 p.m. Monday, March 31, at 45 Wall Street, Asheville, NC 28801.
Interested firms may submit any questions about the requested proposal by e-mail to Mariate Echeverry at mecheverry@ashevillenc.gov. Questions will be compiled and answered on a weekly basis. More information is available on the city Web site, www.ashevillenc.gov.
