Asheville Parks and Recreation will offer a new Yoga class on Mondays, from 5:45 - 7:00 p.m. at Harvest House, 205 Kenilworth Rd., starting March 31. Learn a gentle, balanced sequence of yoga postures and stretches to strengthen the entire body, releasing chronic tension that so often dulls vitality. Practicing yoga also helps to increase flexibility and balance, as well as awareness and relaxation. Beginners welcome – postures can be modified to fit varied levels of flexibility.
Certified instructor Anastasia Osolin has over ten years experience, and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. Fee: $60/ six week session – Asheville residents; $65/session for non-city residents. Or pay by the class at $12 each. For more information or to register for the class, call 828-350-2051, or contact dblack@ashevillenc.gov. (Image provided by Wikipedia.)
