Affordable Housing Coalition During the past ten years, AHC has been privileged to work with the people of Asheville and Buncombe County by providing those in search of a new home the housing counseling, educational and supportive services they needed to accomplish their goals. American Association of University Women meets the 3rd Wednesdays of the month. This group is a 150 year old national organization promoting equity for all women and girls, lifelong education and positive societal change. The Asheville's branch is NC's largest. American Business Women's Association - Sky-Hy Chapter The Sky-Hy Chapter of American Business Women is an organization that provides networking and personal growth opportunities to working women of Western North Carolina. Join the Sky-Hy Chapter of ABWA at their monthly meeting on the first Thursday of each month at the Best Western Hotel on Woodfin Street in Asheville, N.C., at 6:00 p.m. Guests are welcome at each meeting. Asheville Jaycees 
The Asheville Chapter of the Junior Chamber of Commerce is a group of compassionate young professionals between the ages of 21 and 39 dedicated to making Asheville a better place to live. Jaycees help members by providing opportunities for business, networking, personal growth, leadership development and social interaction. They help our local Asheville community by volunteering their time in various different projects. Asheville Jaycees are involved with the ABCCM Men's Shelter and Quality Forward organizations on a regular basis and have many social functions throughout the year. Asheville Pregnancy Support Services Asheville Pregnancy Suport Services (APSS) is a Christian ministry defending the sanctity of life by offering loving support to women, teens and families facing a crisis pregnancy. Our goal is to provide alternatives to abortion through practical help, counseling, education, and pregnancy testing, ALL AT NO CHARGE.

Carolina Mountain Club The Carolina Mountain Club was organized to foster the enjoyment of the mountains through hiking and to encourage the conservation of our natural resources. History Society The Blue Ridge Living History Society of North Carolina, a family-oriented, non-profit Civil War re-enacting organization, is seeking recruits in the area. Mac Computer Group The Macintosh Asheville Computer Society meets at TC Roberson High School Media Center at Long Shoals Road from 7-9pm. All are welcome.

Mountain Microenterprise Fund Membership Program provides vendor discounts, one-to-one consulting, monthly networking events, cooperative advertising, and access to a computer and the Internet.

Network for Empowerment and Women's Self-Sufficiency program for single mothers and displaced home-makers will meet at 6pm every Thursday. Pisgah chapter of Trout Unlimited The Pisgah chapter of Trout Unlimited is located in Hendersonville, N.C. nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Chapter was founded in June of 1969. They are now celebrating our 32nd year of cold water conservation.

The Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County: If you want to get involved in helping to preserve Asheville and Buncombe County's heritage, then get involved with this organization. Triathlon Club of Asheville is a nonprofit club for local triathletes of all skill levels. They have meetings on the third Thursday of odd months at Pastabilities.

Trout Unlimited Land-of-Sky Join this group of anglers and conservationists as they seek to protect area trout and their habitat. There are numerous scenic trout streams in the area; TU members can tell you where to cast your fly!

Western North Carolina Sierra Club has monthly meetings offering educational speakers. They also have planned some awesome hikes in our beautiful mountains.

Women Outdoors offers women the opportunity to meet other women who share an appreciation for the outdoors. They have monthly meetings and offer a variety of outdoor activities.

YMCA works hard to keep families involved in the community and involved with each other. The YMCA has activities for all ages.
