Asheville will open its streets to the Asheville Wine and Food Festival beginning Friday, August 19th. The festival’s events take place at the U.S. Cellular Center.

In a city famous for independent farm-to-table restaurants, underground dinners, award-winning chefs, booming brewery scene, burgeoning craft distilleries, award winning wineries, and the mélange of farmers and artisan food producers, Asheville’s food scene has exploded. And it hasn’t gone unnoticed. TripAdvisor placed Asheville right up there with New York City, San Francisco, and New Orleans when it bestowed the city with a Traveler’s Choice Food & Wine Destination Award; The Huffington Post named Asheville one of the Top 10 Undiscovered Local Food Cities; and Southern Living listed Asheville among the Tastiest Towns in the South.

And at this premier foodie event, scheduled for this weekend, meet the people who make Asheville the creative and artsy mountain city it is — a community of musicians and artists, chefts and brewers, outdoor guides and boutique shop owners.

To learn more about the family-friendly community, come join us in the Mountain Air VIP lounge Saturday, August 20, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm during the Grand Tasting!
