Biltmore Village Hosts Dickens in the Village Holiday Festivities Dec. 2-3

Historic Biltmore Village celebrates Christmas the old fashion way with tree lighting, carolers, and a special visit from Santa.

Over one thousand luminaries will line the streets of Historic Biltmore Village to celebrate the lighting of the 25′ Christmas tree on Friday night, December 2nd, at 6:00 pm. The event will feature the choirs from Vance Elementary and Asheville High School. There will be a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, freshly roasted chestnuts, and horse drawn carriage rides through the Village and other festive treats.

Located throughout the Village will be strolling carolers dressed in period costumes, musicians, and other lively holiday entertainment on Saturday, December 3rd from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Montford Park players will be on hand to entertain. There will be freshly roasted chestnuts and horse drawn carriage rides during the day to complete the holiday experience.
