The Magnetic Theatre Presents Money and How To Make It!

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had? Chances are, the comic team responsible for The Magnetic Theatre’s How-To series has had much, much worse.

They want to share with you the little knowledge and wisdom gleaned through all they’ve done to make a little dough in their latest creation, Money and How To Make It!, playing at Magnetic 375 (375 Depot Street in the River Arts District) Thursdays through Saturdays, at 7:30 pm, now through February 25th.

All performances are $21 online and $24 at the door. $10 student rush tickets are available 15 minutes before curtain with valid I.D.

The fourth in the series — after smash hits Sex and How To Have It!, Food and How To Eat It!, and Beer and How To Drink It! — Money and How To Make It! explores service jobs, scam artists, corporate mumbo jumbo, and more. You’ll also get a peek at how the show is created and at the sometimes-strained working relationships among the How-To Crew—and this behind-the-scenes look will show that, while money has the power to pull people apart, comedy and song-and-dance about money can bring them back together.

Bank on the million-dollar ensemble of Scott Fisher, Katie Langwell, Valerie Meiss, and Glenn Reed. Direction by Magnetic Theatre Artistic Director Steven Samuels. As always, all contribute material, along with head writer Lisa Yoffee. Lighting design by Jason Williams. Choreography by Kristi DeVille.
