City of Asheville’s 2017 Movies in the Park Season

The City of Asheville’s 2017 season of Movies in the Park, a free monthly movie series in Pack Square Park, is winding down. Rogue One, scheduled for September 15th, wraps up the season.

As the Rebellion spreads its influence among people, the Galactic Empire builds a super weapon capable of destroying an entire planet. A group of rebels disobeys orders and take a shuttle to go on a mission to steal plans that hide secrets on how to destroy this weapon of mass destruction.

Children’s craft activities begin at 6:30 pm and the movie begins at dusk on a giant screen on the Pack Square Park stage.

Movies in the Park continues monthly through September. Each month, children’s craft activities begin at 6:30 pm, followed with the movie at dusk. All movies are rated G or PG.
