There is a pleasant view from this overlook which includes Mackey Mountain to the right and Onion Knob to the left. The true origin of the name Singecat Ridge is not known, but the ridge was singed by a fire in 1955. New growth has recovered the once bare ridge.

Make sure to wear comfortable and stable footwear, proper attire for the given weather conditions and to bring water!
