Are you looking for a fresh turkey for your Thanksgiving table? Local farms and businesses are taking orders!
Find out how to pre-order your bird, plus how the turkeys were raised, price per pound, and much more.
There are still local turkey options available throughout the region, but not all that many. If your heart’s set on a turkey, we encourage you to reserve it as soon as you can, as they’re likely to sell out early, or get on a waiting list.
There are also other great locally-raised entree options to choose from, including chicken, duck, rabbit, whole ham, a leg of lamb, trout fillets, brisket, standing rib roast, and more. Use our online Local Food Guide to search for farms, businesses, and farmers markets selling local products for all of your Thanksgiving shopping needs. Stay tuned for more local holiday tips!
