The Carolina Antique Tackle Collectors sponsor at least two collector tackle shows each year. One is generally held in the spring and the other in the fall.
At the shows, club members come together to buy, trade, and sell old fishing tackle and memorabilia, as well as share information about common interests.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend and to bring their old fishing tackle to the shows. Free appraisals are provided and individuals may sell their items by auction to club members. The auction guarantees you will get top dollar for your collectibles. You must be a club member in good standing in order to display items at a club show. Membership is available at the door if you are interested in joining.
Admission for the public is $5 per person or free if you bring in old tackle for sale or appraisal.
This year’s show will be held at Cascades Mountain Resort at 201 Sugarloaf Rd. in Hendersonville. The show takes place April 20-22; however, the show is only open to the public on Saturday, April 21st, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
