The City of Asheville Parks & Recreation Department’s 2018 season of Movies in the Park is in full swing! Movies in the Park is a free monthly movie series on the Roger McGuire Green in Pack Square Park.

Because several movies were rained out last year, they’re giving families an opportunity to see them this summer.

Bring a chair or a blanket and come out for crafts, a movie in the park, and an evening of fun, all for free. Children’s craft activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and the movie begins at dusk on a giant screen on the Pack Square Park stage.

Movies in the Park continues monthly through September. Each month, children’s craft activities begin at 6:30 p.m., followed with the movie at dusk. All movies are rated G or PG.
