Bored on a Tuesday evening with no plans and nothing to do? Come down to Field 9 at Buncombe County Sports Park and check out the Social Nite Pop Up, taking place every Tuesday from Sept. 25 until Oct. 30.
The county is offering free-to-play lawn games every Tuesday evening from September 25 to October 30. They will have badminton, ladder ball, corn hole, bocce ball, plus a few other lawn games (they may just make them up as they go). Don’t fret if you do not know the rules for these games, there will be a seasoned lawn games veteran there to help you out. This will be a source of fun-focused, active recreation. Come relax and meet new people in this inviting environment and check out one of the county’s many parks!
You can come as an individual or drag your friends or coworkers along. The pop up will be held every Tuesday night starting on September 25 and will go through October 30. The pop ups will start at 5:30 pm and go until 7:00 pm.
Participants can be any age; however, individuals younger than 16 years of age are required to have a parent actively participating in the pop up to play. The Social Nite Recreation and Leisure Pop Up is a family friendly and alcohol-free event.
