Craft Sale to Support Claxton Elementary on Nov. 10

Ready to start your holiday shopping with some local, handmade goods? More than twenty talented artists will be featured at the Claxton Crafty on November 10 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Salvage Station on Riverside Drive. The diverse lineup of offerings include on-site screen printing, handmade leather goods, high fashion animal collars, handmade hats, and landscape paintings. There will also be live music by local musicians and Claxton students. The Claxton Crafty is a PTO fundraiser to benefit Claxton Elementary, the Asheville City School focusing on arts and humanities.

“This is a great opportunity to find unique pieces of art, all in one place, while supporting public education,” says event organizer, Tricia Johnson. “All of these artists are very talented and we think the community will be impressed with the variety of artwork available. We want to get the word out about the event so that folks can take advantage of the opportunity to do some holiday shopping at a beautiful, riverside location while listening to live music.”

The event will happen rain or shine and there is plenty of parking available at the Salvage Station. Featured artists include: 14 Mile Creations, 25 Watt Silversmith, Amie Wight Art, Art by Jennifer, Asheville Sacred Living, Babolulu, Back Porch Designs, Dawn Rentz, Elm Street Art, Grift Town Goods, Hollywoof Styles, James Cassara Art, Lost Cove Jewelry, Matilda Magic, Natalie’s Headbands for Hope, Pure Ritual, Rosie’s Accessories, Scissors and Glue, She’s Crafty AVL, The Tiny Twig, Victory Blvd. Threads, and why knot.
