Judge’s Favorite: Purl’s Yarn Emporium

Best Interpretation of Theme: The Chocolate Fetish

Best Use of Merchandise: Mast General Store

Most Heartwarming: Sensibilities Day Spa

Honorable Mention: Duncan & York and Spiritex

Winners from the previous year are not eligible to win in the same category in consecutive years.

“Purl’s always has a great window, but this year’s nod to the Appalachian Holiday theme featuring Swannanoa Solstice and Christmas Jam really impressed the judges,” said Meghan Rogers, Executive Director of the Asheville Downtown Association.

Meghan continued, “The judges also loved the heartwarming window at Sensibilities Day Spa put together by children in the Arts for Life program at Mission Hospital. The kids, ages 5-17, made adorable animals you’d find in our mountains.”
