Grovewood Gallery will offer a refreshing alternative to big-box retail chains during their annual Holiday Sip & Shop event on Friday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 8. The event takes place from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm on both days.
Shop unique holiday gifts handcrafted by local and regional artists as well as a large collection of American-made art and craft. All gallery merchandise will be ten percent off and holiday shoppers can enjoy complimentary wine, warm cider and cookies. Local artists will perform craft demonstrations and interact with guests from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on both days.
Grovewood Village is housed in the historic weaving and woodworking complex of Biltmore Industries. Their 11-acre property, celebrating its centennial this year, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and includes Grovewood Gallery, working artist studios, a sculpture garden, Golden Fleece restaurant, the Biltmore Industries Homespun Museum, and Asheville’s only antique car museum.
