Join the Asheville Area Arts Council and 103.3 Asheville FM in celebrating music and community with the Winter Chill Local Music Series! This three-part series will highlight the music being created right in our own backyard while also featuring venues so important to our creative economy.

The series has two remaining events set for Monday, February 11 and Monday, March 11.

March 11 | Rock Night
@ The Mothlight
Doors at 7, show at 8
Featuring: DJ Greg Cartwright, Kitty Tsunami, Pink Mercury

Kitty Tsunami melted together in summer of 2014. Wanting to keep it loud, fast and raucous the trio set out to fill the city with a bombardment of beach riffs and summertime care free odes. Since their first release they recorded a new album called Cosa Nostra a faster more aggressive sound homaging early 70s punk and rock n roll.

Pink Mercury makes exploratory music within sparse structures, only some of which are predetermined, resulting in an art-pop-rock-dance-centered, but ultimately genre-bending, conversation.
