Join Asheville GreenWorks and Duke Energy for the first annual Asheville Tree Giveaway on Saturday, March 30 at First Baptist Church from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The church is located at 5 Oak Street, Asheville, NC 28801.
Organizers will be giving away Oaks, Sycamores, Red Maples, Blackgums, River Birches, Persimmons, Hickorys,or Sourwoods to Buncombe County residents. One tree per household on a first come, first serve basis.
Please bring along either a valid ID or your most recent water bill for verification of residency. You will select your tree species upon arrival and will need to go through a short on-site training on how to plant and take care of your tree.
