Splash into spring with Asheville Tea Company’s new vibrant blends! Join Asheville Tea Company on Saturday, March 23 for the most flavorful event of the season.
Visitors will be able to sample the spring harvest during the Iced Tea Release Party from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the company’s Ivory Road location.
“These blends are so fun and unique because they are incredibly fresh, vibrant and colorful,” said Jessie Dean, owner. “It’s a refreshing change to shift from our bold, spiced fall and winter blends to bright, floral, stimulating spring and summer flavors like mint, lemongrass and elderflower.”
Cost is $10 and includes a flight of tea featuring each seasonal blend, Ivory Road’s homemade scones, artfully paired with each blend, and a few special treats from the cup and the kitchen.
Asheville Tea Company’s 2019 iced tea seasonal releases include Elderflower Rose, a blend of blooms with elderflower, rose petals, lemon balm, lemon peel and nettle; Lavender Limoncello, a popular blend of lemon verbena, lavender, lemon peel , lemon basil, juniper berry and purple shiso; Blue Mint, a distinctly colorful blend of blue butterfly pea flower, peppermint, lemongrass and blue cornflower, and Hibiscus Mojito, a botanical blend of hibiscus, mojito mint, peppermint and lime basil.
“It’s a lot of fun to work with local healthful herbs like this to bring a splash of color and vibrancy to our blends, without any artificial ingredients,” Dean said.
