5th Annual Color Me Goodwill Fashion Show

The 5th Color Me Goodwill Fashion Show is a fast-paced, head-turning showcase of Asheville’s growing sustainable fashion trend. Join the community on Friday, April 26 at The Orange Peel for a runway show you’ll never forget.

Seven designers have combed through Goodwill stores for items to reconstruct into creative, color-inspired collections. Among the 35 models are Goodwill clients, who will share their journeys to opportunity and hope.

A panel of expert judges selected from the Asheville fashion industry will award first prize to one of the seven collections. In addition, audience members will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite designer. This year’s judges include Heather StefanI, co-owner of the blu29 Denim and Décor boutique; designer and 2017 Color Me Goodwill competitor Charles Josef from Charles Josef Bridal; Brooke Williams, creator of The Tony Townie; and Patricia Martin-Betts, from Sophie Magazine.

The designers this year include returning Color Me Goodwill favorites – including two past first-prize winners – and new faces. They are: Leanna Echeverri, Caleb Owolabi, Jon Pierce, Stina Anderson, Birgeta Mannikan, Art Blue and Royal Peasantry.

Doors open at 6:00 pm for a cocktail reception, and at 7:00 pm this unique show begins. Immediately following the fashion show, enjoy a retrospective slideshow highlighting moments from our first four events.

Tickets will be $20 and can be purchased at the show’s etix.com ticketing page.
