CoThinkk Seeks Nominees for Community Leadership Awards

CoThinkk is gearing up for its fourth year of honoring and celebrating leaders tackling complex issues in Western North Carolina!

The group is the first of its kind in Western North Carolina, designed specifically to create supportive networks, accelerate systemic change, and seed new initiatives through a shared leadership model that is both alternative and complementary to traditional philanthropy.

They are kicking off their 2019 Leadership, Ally, and Next Generation Awards by asking the community to nominate leaders of color and allies who are playing a critical role in the social change ecosystem of Western NC and working to shift the narrative of communities of color!

Once we have compiled all of the nominations, we will ask the public to vote using text or our on-line tool Aug. 12-31. CoThinkk will honor eight leaders: four community leaders, two community allies, and two next generation leaders (21 and under).

The CoThinkk community leadership award recipients will be announced at the the Annual Event Shifting the Now: Shaping the Future event on Saturday, Oct. 19, which is open to the entire community. Please reserve your seat for the event using the following link: bit.ly/CoThinkkAwardNight.
