Asheville: It’s time to get your glow on! iDaph Events is proud to help support Western Carolina Rescue Ministries by presenting its first ever Light Up the Night 5K on Friday, August 9.
Light Up the Night 5K is a glow-in-the-dark nighttime run for all abilities that will wind through the historic streets of Montford in Asheville.
Runners will take to the streets starting at 7:30 pm in “glow swag” in this fun and unique event, and all the proceeds from this run will directly benefit the continuous work of recovery, rescue and restoration to individuals throughout WCRM.
“I would love to see community members become aware of the significant impact we are having on hundreds of thousands of lives within our area,” says Jessica May, Director of Development at WCRM. “We are helping them in various ways such as providing warm meals, safe shelter, public showers, free primary medical care, clothing, food boxes, and free year-long residential recovery programs for both men and women with young children. The funds raised at this event will help us to continue to provide the love these individuals need as they pick up the pieces and move forward in a healthy, positive way.”
