McKibbon Hospitality has announced that its Aloft Asheville Downtown hotel has completed an extensive renovation, which was handled by Atlanta, GA-based McKibbon Places.

The renovation includes new furnishings, updated flooring, and features the work of several local artists in its public spaces, guestrooms, and suites. As part of McKibbon’s commitment to creating a top-notch guest experience in its hotels, the pieces commissioned by Asheville native Liz Barr, owner of Art Resources, bring a local flair to Aloft Asheville Downtown and celebrate artists from the local Asheville art community.

“Asheville has such a vibrant and unique art community, and we are thrilled to showcase a sampling in our refreshed Aloft Asheville Downtown hotel,” said Drew Walls, Aloft Asheville general manager. “By featuring the work of local artists, we are able to incorporate the surrounding culture into the hotel and provide a unique opportunity for our guests to experience the artistic side of Asheville.”
