Individuals and families needing assistance recovering from Hurricane Helene are encouraged to visit community hub sites offered by Goodwill Industries of North Carolina and its community partners.

Services available at the hubs will include assistance filing for Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA), FEMA claims, and other benefits. Families can also receive Goodwill Good Neighbor vouchers that can be used at any Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina store.

“We hope that these hubs will become central locations for resources to meet the needs of our community and our team members,” said Barbara Maida-Stolle, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina. “Goodwill will continue to evaluate the community’s needs and provide additional resources as those evolve.”
