AdvantageWest recently announced the addition of Kathryn A. Neall, CPA, of Hendersonville, to the organization�s professional staff and leadership team. Neall will serve as Senior Vice President of Finance & Grants, reporting directly to AdvantageWest President & CEO Dale Carroll. She will also work closely with the AdvantageWest Board�s Finance & Audit Committee, comprised of Board Treasurer Ron Leatherwood, of Waynesville, Committee Chair Tommy Jenkins, of Franklin, and Mike Fulenwider of Morganton.
In her new role, Neall will be responsible for managing day-to-day fiscal responsibilities for the organization and policies overseen by the Board and CEO. The new Senior VP level position consolidates Controller and Director of Grants Administration roles at AdvantageWest. She will also oversee the organization�s grant writing and grants management. AdvantageWest CEO Dale Carroll said that Neall�s depth and breadth of experience in finance, including the government and nonprofit sectors, will make her a valuable asset to the AdvantageWest leadership team. �We are fortunate to have a person of Kathryn�s caliber join our management team.
