Asheville Tourists Single-Game Tickets Now on Sale

Single-game tickets for the Asheville Tourists' 2012 season are now on sale at the McCormick Field box office. Fans have the opportunity to select seats to 69 of the team's 70 games for the upcoming campaign.

The Tourists have kept ticket prices intact for the fourth straight year. Advance purchase pricing for box seats is $10 for adults and $8 for children age 6-12, military personnel and seniors age 65 and older. The advance purchase for general admission seats is $7 for adults and $6 for children, military personnel and seniors. Prices are $1 more for all seats when purchased on the day of the game.

"Our goal every season is to provide Tourists baseball at the most affordable price so that families and fans can enjoy a night at McCormick Field as often as possible," said Tourists president Brian DeWine. "Once again, kids age five and under will be admitted free of charge. We're also excited about several of our new items and other upgrades involving our concession items. Everything we do is centered on creating the best environment for our fans, and that includes keeping our prices as low as possible."

Full- and half-season ticket packages also remain available in three seating areas. The traditional box seats are $462 each for the entire campaign and $280 for a half-season plan. Full-season packages are $1,799 in the Bojangles Dugout Suites, which feature on-field seating and all-you-can-eat seat service, with half-season plans in the same area selling for $980 per seat. The team has also added a full-season package in the Press Row seats, located in the chair-back area just below the press box, which are $700. General admission season tickets, also available only on a full-season basis, are $301 each.

The Tourists are also offering a variety of Flex Plans, which include undated tickets that can be used for all games over the course of the season, excluding July 4. The 100-game Flex Pack is $721 for box seats and $567 for general admission. The 50-game Flex Pack is $412 for box seats and $309 for general admission, while the 10-game Flex Pack is $96 for box seats and $67 for general admission.

The Tourists open their home slate on Thursday, April 5, against the Delmarva Shorebirds. After a four-game series versus the Shorebirds, the Tourists then welcome the West Virginia Power to McCormick Field for a three-game set, from April 9-11. The home schedule features 12 Thirsty Thursdays and 11 games each on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Also on the slate is a July 4th Fireworks contest against the Augusta Green Jackets; those tickets will go on sale after the start of the season.
