Get in the spirit with an afternoon of holiday music! The Asheville Symphony is celebrating the season at the annual Holiday Pops Concert, scheduled this year for Sunday, December 12th at 3:00 P.M. (note change of date and time). Concert-goers can expect to hear favorites such as 'Twas the Night Before Christmas and Sleigh Ride as Dewitt Tipton leads the Asheville Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in traditional tunes for Christmas and Hanukkah.
As always, expect special guests to show up for holidays. The Asheville Symphony Children's Chorus, under the direction of Susan Henley, will also be on hand, and the A.C. Reynolds High School Madrigal singers, directed by Janis Dellinger Bryant, are scheduled to perform as well. Tickets to the concert are $55 for Mezzanine Seats, $42 for Area 1 Seats, $34 for Area 2 Seats, and $20 for Area 3 Seats.
