Residents can now purchase mulch at the Buncombe County Landfill. The mulch is available for $10 per scoop (one scoop will fill up the bed of a large pickup truck). A tarp is required to cover the load of mulch. If you do not have a tarp with you, you will not be able to purchase mulch.Loading hours for mulch are:
Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. For more information, call the Landfill at 250-5462. The Landfill's mission is to protect the health and safety of all citizens by disposing of all waste generated in Buncombe County in the most efficient, cost effective and environmentally sound manner possible.
